Vallo Alpino was ending (or beginning) at the port of Rijeka (It.: Fiume) in present day Republic of Croatia. Then encircled by the territory of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia this fort was especially strongly fortified. Mr. Vladimir Tonic has located, measured and catalogued all the forts around Rijeka.
