As opposed to the last year's symposium, organised by AD PIRUM Institute in the Museum of Ziri, this year's international gathering of the Rapallo Border experts was of a less official character, but it nevertheless attracted some top authorities on the subject. They came from Slovenia, Italy and Croatia. The organiser was again AD PIRUM Institute, while the meeting took place in Trate above Logatec.

Za razliko od lanskoletnega simpozija, ki je v organizaciji Zavoda za intelektualne dejavnnosti AD PIRUM potekal v Muzeju Ziri, letosnje mednarodno srecanje poznavalcev rapalske meje sicer ni imelo uradnega znacaja, a je vendarle pritegnilo vrhunske izvedence s tega podrocja. Prisli so iz Slovenija, Italije in Hrvaske. Tudi letos je bil organizator Zavod za intelektualne dejavnnosti AD PIRUM, srecanje pa je potekalo v Tratah nad Logatcem.

During the walk to the former border guards barracks participants were addressed shortly by prof. Tomaz Pavsic, the author of the fundamental book "Ob stari meji" ("Along the Old Border"). After the dinner some memories of the life near the former border crossing were conveyed by Vojko Panic, the president of the Medvedje Brdo and Rovtarske Zibrse Tourist Association. The gathering was attended by (from left to right at the uppermost photo): Vojko Panic, Romy Steindorfer Silvestri, Franc Kogovsek, Andreja Kogovsek, Rok Klemencic, Stjepan Loncaric, Aleksander J. Potocnik (a host), Tomaz Pavsic, Gasper Rutar, Anton Marn (a host), Matija Cresnar and Sergio Silvestri. SPECIAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT Members of the Ad Pirum Institute wish to thank prof. Tomaz Pavsic for his encouragement to continue, after a successful international symposium of 2010, the tradition of expert's gatherings.

Med sprehodom do nekdanje karavle (t.i. kaverne) je udelezencem nekaj besed spregovoril prof. Tomaz Pavsic, avtor temeljnega dela "Ob stari meji", medtem ko je po vecerji spomine na nekdanji mejni prehod, kakor so se ohranili v Tratah, povzel Vojko Panic, predsednik Turisticnega drustva Medvedje brdo in Rovtarske Zibrse.
