On 11.11.2006 it was the 88th anniversary of the armistice. The date coincided with the traditional 9th commemoration for the fallen on the Mt. Krn (quoted also as Monte Nero) battlefield near Krn Lake. Here are some impressions from the event with the stress on re-enactment groups IR17 and 1313.

11.11.2006 je bila 88. obletnica premirja, ki je pomenilo konec prve svetovne vojne. Datum se je ujel z deveto tradicionalno komemoracijo v spomin na padle v Krnskem pogorju ob Krnskem jezeru. Tule je nekaj vtisov s povdarkom na udelezbi clanov ponazoritvenih skupin IR17 in 1313.

The tranquil mountain lake, once the theatre of war, and the multitude that gathered for the commemoration, among them important guests from Slovenia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Bulgaria and elsewhere.	Tiho gorsko jezero, ki je bilo nekoc bojisce in mnozica, ki se je zbrala na slovesnosti. Med njimi visoki gostje iz Slovenije, Madjarske, Ceske, Bolgarije in drugod.

This being also St. Martin's day the day was concluded elsewhere - in the wine cellar with some chosen new wine, as some old members of the IR17 were made welcome back.

Ker je bilo ta dan tudi Martinovo, se je dan zakljucil drugje - v vinski kleti ob izbranem mladem vinu in dobrodoslici povratku nekaterih starih clanov IR17.
