An inaugural presentation of the Slovenian language edition of the book "Po sledeh Ernesta Hemingwaya" (On Ernest Hemingway's Trail) by authors Branko Drekonja and Aleksander Jankovic Potocnik took place in the hotel (gostisce Kriznic) at the main square of Kanal ob Soci on Wednesday, December 16, 2009. The authors have reconstructed the rout of the main hero of Ernest Hemingway's novel "A Farewell to Arms", lieutenant Frederic Henry. It's trail is described by archive photographic material and notes by people who as either soldiers or civilians actually participated in those historic events, while today's appearance of the sites in question is richly documented by photography of Rafael Marn. By describing ethnographic characteristics such as "Liski pustje" or carnival at Morsko the book reaches over the boundaries of merely military history and literature.

The book was edited and designed by Anton Marn.
