The author fist planned to write just a program for the new museum collection, but the result greatly overpassed that original intention. It turned out to be well written and pleasant to read literature, summing up all the current researches of the former border and it's impacts on the lifes of the local population, from severed human ties and smuggling to the construction of fortified lines on each side of the border.

Knjiga, ki je bila sprva misljeno le kot program za novo muzejsko zbirko, je dalec presegla prvotni namen. Gre za dobro napisano in lepo berljivo literarno delo, povzetek dosedanjih preucevanj zapuscine Rapalske meje in njenih vplivov na zivljenje ljudi ob njej, od presekanih cloveskih vezi in tihotapstva do gradnje utrdb na obeh straneh meje.
Knjiga je na voljo pri muzejskem drustvu Ziri in zalozbi Pegaz International na Aljazevi 10 v Ljubljani.
