Joe Kaufmann and Alistair Scadden have sent their letters of concern over the fate of Milanja fortifications to Slovenian Culture Heritage Agency. Joe Kaufmann in Alistair Scadden sta poslala pismi v katerih sta Zavodu za varstvo kulturne dediscine izrazila skrb zaradi moznega unicenja utrdb na Milanji. . Up till today (15.1.2004) Czech fortifications books author Mr. Milos Habrnal has expressed his desire to visit the forts at Milanja, while Mr. Sergio Silvestri, the chairman of the Cultural Association of Fortifications Friends from Udine, Italy and some of his colleagues from Villa Santina actually visit the site on Dec 27, 2003. They all agreed that the landscape is magnificent and worth preservation even if there were no forts, but even more so with the forts. Have a look at pics from the excursion! But especcially welcome is a message from historian Ernesta Drole of the Regional Department of the State Cultural Heritage Agency in Nova Gorica informing me that she is already undertaking the task of evaluating the fortifications of 1930's in a view of registering them as a part of the national cultural heritage. Do danasnjega dne (15.1.2004) je zainteresiranost za obisk utrdb na Milanji izrazil g. Milos Habrnal, ceski avtor knjig o utrdbah. G. Sergio Silvestri, predsednik Kulturnega zdruzenja prijateljev utrdb iz Vidma pa si je skupaj z nekaj clani zdruzenja iz Villa Santin te utrdbe tudi ogledal. Vsi so se strinjali, da je pokrajina enkratna in vredna zascite tudi brez utrdb, z utrdbami pa seveda se toliko bolj. Oglejte siposnetke z izleta ! Se posebej pa je bilo dobrodoslo obvestilo zgodovinarke Erneste Drole z Zavoda za varstvo kulturne dediscine, obmocna enota Nova Gorica, da ze pripravlja predlog za vpis utrdb iz tridesetih let prejsnjega stoletja v register kulturne dediscine.
