This year's exercises and examination of knowledge of traditional pre World War 1 military routine was indeed an international one. There were re-enactors from Italy (IR97), Austria (IR49), Czech Republic and Slovenia (IR17). Last September members of IR17 were received by the nameholder of the original 17th regiment, the heir to Austria-Hungary throne Otto von Habsburg. This was a proper occasion to award two deserving members of the IR17 re-enactment group from Ljubljana, Brane Pogladic and Bostjan Bacer, with promotion into the "traditional groups' rank" of corporal (korporal iTR). |
Letosnja vaja in podcastniski izpit iz poznavanja zgodovinskih vojaskih vescin sta bila zares emednarodna. Udelezili so se ponazoritveniki iz Italije (IR97), Avstrije (IR49), Ceske in Slovenije (IR17). Lanskega septembra je clane skupine IR17 sprejel imejitelj pravega 17. pespolka in avstro-ogrski prestolonaslednik, Oton Habsburski. To je bila prava priloznost, da sta bila dva zasluzna clana ponazoritvene skupine IR17 iz Ljubljane, Brane Pogladic in Bostjan Bacer nagrajena s povisanjem v vojaskozgodovinski cin korporala (iTR). |

The exercises were conducted by watchful eye of fahnrich iTR Marko Negrieski and the exam before the international panel formed by lt. colonel iTR Manfred Korner and major iTR Aleksander Simec (IR49), feldwebel iTR Ivan Vesely (LIR2) and captain iTR) A.J. Potocnik (IR17). The two candidates passed successfully both a theoretical exam and a demonstration of parade commanding skills. They had their ranks confirmed with compliments. To conclude the event members of IR49 surprised colleagues from IR17 by decorating them.
This year the exercises were organised by Ad Pirum Institute in Logatec. The next day most of the participants proceeded to visit WW1 battlefields on Kras plateau. MORE >>> Photos by members of IR17 and Ad Pirum |
Vaje so potekale pod budnim ocesom praporscaka iTR Marka Negrieskega, izpit pa pred mednarodno komisijo, ki so jo sestavljali p.polkovnik iTR Manfred Korner in major iTR Aleksander Simec (IR49), feldwebel iTR Ivan Vesely (LIR2) in stotnik iTR) A.J. Potocnik (IR17). Oba sta uspesno opravila preizkus teopreticnega poznavanja vojaske zgodovine in prakticen prikaz paradnega poveljevanja. Njuna cina sta bila potrjena s pohvalo. Po prireditvi so clani IR49 clane IR17 razveselili s priloznostnimi priznanji.
