This years gathering at the Krn Lake commemorating the victims of the First World War in the mountains of the Soca - Isonzo Front was favoured by the weather and saw the attendance of many people and high representatives of diplomacy and military from Austria, Hungary, Germany, Italy and Czech Republic.
It has been a very memorable day!

Letosnja spominska slovesnost ob Krnskem jezeru bo ostala v spominu po lepem vremenu in stevilcnem obisku tako planincev, kot visokih predstavnikov diplomacije in vojske iz Avstrije, Madzarske, Nemcije, Italije in Ceske republike.
Dan bo dolgo ostal v lepem spominu.

This group of re-enactors participating in the event carries the colours of the 17th Infantry Regiment of Ljubljana, but while they've indeed got their uniforms from the IR 17 Group they are in fact a brand new group from Peski Association of Tolmin.

Ta skupina ponazoritvenikov, ki se je udelezila prireditve, zaenkrat nosi barve 17. ljubljanskega pespolka. Uniforme so res dobili od ponazoritvene skupine IR 17, vendar gre za povsem novo skupino drustva Peski iz Tolmina.
