In the organisation of the local "agentura" for tourism promotion the old castle Konopiste - once home to Austria-Hungarian heir to the throne, archduke Franz Ferdinand - has on May 23rd 2009 became the site of "Royal & Imperial Manoeuvres". Apart from cultural performances related to the historic theme the main parts of the program were:
- troop parade overseen by the archduke
- great manouvres
- night battle at the Eastern Front

V organizaciji krajevne turisticno-promocijske "agenture" je 23. maja 2009 pod gradom Konopiste, ki je bil nekdaj last in dom avstro-ogrskega prestolonaslednika Franca Ferdinanda, potekala zgodovinsko - ponazoritvena prireditev "Cesarsko - kraljevi manevri". Program so poleg zgodovinsko obarvanih kulturnih nastopov sestavljale tri glavne ponazoritve:
- postroj enot pred prestolonaslednikom
- veliki vojaski manevri in
- nocna bitka na vzhodni fronti

Roles of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand and members of his entourage were carried out by members of the re-enactment group from Brno. Manoeuvres were carried out by other Czech Military History Associations and also some foreign guests.

Vloge nadvojvode Franca Ferdinanda in clanov njegovega spremstva je odigrala ponazoritvena skupina iz Brna. Manevre so izvedli clani razlicnih ceskih vojaskozgodovinskih drustev, ki so se jim pridruzili tudi nekateri gostje iz tujine.

The event was visited by two grand-nephews of the real archduke Franz Ferdinand, Raoul and Gabriel Hohenberg, accompanied on the photo by Miss Dana Vesely.

Prireditve sta se udelezila tudi pranecaka pravega nadvojvode, Raoul in Gabriel Hohenberg, na sliki v spremstvu gospodicne Dane Vesely.

The IR 17 Association from Ljubljana also participated. As is quite usual in Czech Republic the event was carried out in a rather spectacular way, this time also added by a splendid setting on the lawn between the castle and the pond

Prireditve so se udelezili tudi clani Zgodovinskega drustva IR17. Kot vedno na ceskem je bil dogodek izpeljan spektakularno. To pot je k temu prispevala tudi cudovita lokacija na travniku med gradom in ribnikom.
